NPI: 1114424231
Dr. Kateryna Zelenova is a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon specializing in the comprehensive treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist and upper extremity.
Dr. Zelenova completed her orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, a high-volume Level I trauma center, where she gained extensive experience treating complex traumatic injuries as well as common hand and upper extremity conditions. Her training includes both operative and nonoperative treatment of fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, and other conditions affecting the upper extremity.
Her approach to patient care is centered on listening carefully to each patient’s goals and developing an individualized treatment plan with the patient. She believes that surgery is only one part of treatment and strives to use the least invasive option that will provide the best functional outcome. When surgery is necessary, she emphasizes meticulous technique and a clear postoperative recovery plan to help patients return to the activities that matter most to them.
