Dr. Hamidat Momoh is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon with advanced training in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. She specializes in both conservative and surgical treatment of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, with special interests in arthritis, fractures, sports injuries, nerve-related conditions, diabetic foot care and limb salvage, and bunion and hammertoe correction.

She completed a four-year residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, including Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, where she received extensive training in complex reconstructive surgery, joint replacement, trauma, limb salvage, and sports medicine under the guidance of renowned foot and ankle surgeons. She also received multidisciplinary surgical training in vascular surgery, general surgery, and orthoplastics. During her final year of residency, she had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident.

Dr. Momoh is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered foot and ankle care. She believes in taking an innovative and collaborative approach to treatment and is committed to helping her patients maintain or restore mobility, remain active, and achieve their individual goals. She has a special interest in professional advocacy and has presented research nationally at the ACFAS Scientific Conference. Throughout her training, she has also been actively involved in resident education, professional leadership, mentorship, and medical mission work, including providing care to underserved communities in El Salvador.

Dr. Momoh earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class and served as Student President of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where her volunteer experiences in underserved health clinics helped solidify her interest in medicine and deepen her passion for patient care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Momoh enjoys traveling, discovering new foods and cuisines, and spending time with her friends and family. She is excited to return to Texas and serve the community, build meaningful relationships with her patients, and make a positive impact on their lives.
